• Plot: Ivy Leaguer Tim Faulkner (Patrick Muldoon) returns home for the weekend to find out that his mother and sister have become victims of a brutal execution-style murder and his father has disappeared without a trace. Reeling with heartbreak and unable to accept the FBI's claims that his father had a role in the killings, he sets out to search for his own answers. This whirlwind quest soon leads him to Meredith (Tori Spelling), a bubbly good-time girl who, struck by love and tempted by the sense of adventure, helps him on his perilous journey. News that Tim's father was involved in a money-laundering scheme with violent mobster Mariano (Richard Belzer) and is presumed dead only deepens the investigation. As Tim gets closer to the truth, he also grows closer to Meredith. But with time running out and nowhere to turn, Tim is forced to place his fate in Meredith's hands as she devises a plan to trap the real killer-or make the couple life-long fugitives.
