The best thing about the movie is Joelle Coeur, who plays the femaile leader of the sailoer/ship wreckers. She’s sadistic, charismatic and truly perverse, masterbating on the beach as her followers rape the two girls. Scenes in the abbey are beuatiful and atmospheric, evoking the style and mood we have come to expect and love from a Rollin movie.
