Dylan is still trying to get their romance out of first gear when, during a camping trip, he has an unexpected run-in with Trey Sylvaine (Drew Seeley), a goth-styled teen with a secret -- he's a vampire, and after a bite on the neck, so is Dylan. Dylan isn't so sure he likes being part of the undead, despite Trey's efforts to ingratiate him into the cult of the young and bloodthirsty, and he's even more troubled by the impact his new non-life is having on his relationship with Sarah.
