• Plot: This CBS Special on the life of Michael Jackson originally aired on January 2nd, 2004. Designed as a retrospective look at the life and career of the singing sensation, the show was dogged by the controversy surrounding Jackson due to a number of child abuse allegations that were aimed at him. Nevertheless the show managed to produce a positive message in its overview of the Jackson ouvre, and interspersed documentary footage with some stunning performances from the self-styled King of Pop. Among the clips are a rendition of 'Ben' from American Bandstand, 'Billie Jean' from the Motown 25th anniversary TV special, 'The Way You Make Me Feel' performed at the Grammys, and many others.
