Hopefully his hoi polloi celebration won't interfere with Hyacinth's cocktail soiree for the Avenue set.; ; 'The Unfortunate Prospect of Early Retirement'; As Richard faces the unfortunate prospect of forced early retirement, Hyacinth is far too busy trying to impress Emmet with her prowess as a singer to take notice of his woes.; ; 'Playthings For Daddy'; Hyacinth has to intervene when she learns from her relatives 'on the other side of town' that Daddy has slipped out and run up a bill that he cannot pay. A chance encounter with the formidable Mrs. Councilor Nugent could spell disaster.; ; 'Three Piece Suite'; The delivery of her new living room set, 'the exact replica of one at Sandringham House,' is sure to send Hyacinth's neighbors into an envious fit. But rest assured, the delivery goes awry.; ; 'Picnic For Daddy'; Hyacinth suddenly decides to take Daddy out for a picnic in the country, but instead Daddy suddenly decides that he will take her car! Will the picnic be ruined? What to do with Rose?...And more importantly what will the neighbors think!?
