• Plot: Byron (Bob Peck) is an android on the run because he's wanted for murder. Tasker (Mark Hamill) is the bounty hunter who apprehends him. While stopping at a remote cantina they meet up with Matt Owens (Bill Paxton), a jack-of-all-trades who steals Byron from Tasker so that he can collect the reward money for himself.; ; Matt and Byron fly off into the slipstream, a dangerous wind current that was created by man's destruction of the environment. Tasker and his partner Belitski (Kitty Aldridge) are right behind them, ruthlessly destroying anyone in their path.; ; Together, Byron and Matt develop an unlikely friendship as they travel through remote settlements meeting up with a religious cult that worships the slipstream and a secret enclave of aesthetes. Eventually Tasker and Belitski catch up with Matt and Byron, bringing 'Slipstream' into its explosive climax.
